Floyd Mayweather, Jr's father was a boxer, as were his two uncles. His dad also dealt drugs and one day brought his work home with him, when he used his son as a human shield to stop a rival dealer from shooting him. The gunman instead shot his father in the leg, curtailing his own ring career.
