Summary

After spending five years inside Redrock Stockade, the one-time US marshal Jackson Calveron sets out on a manhunt: travelling a gruelling 250 miles, across the border from Arizona to the New Mexico town of Las Cruces, to find the men who him falsely accused, and convicted, of murder. But when Jack finds himself involved in the aftermath of a brutal bank robbery, the death of a lone silver miner and the arrival of Fausto Salt and Copperhead Pintura, he begins to question his cause. Lewis Berry has made a new life as town sheriff, and when his step-daughter Raphaela appears on the scene, Jack's mission is influenced by a new and more compelling sentiment.
