Event

Motherwell Library is hosting an incredibly special event with Kathleen Jamie, Makar (National Poet of Scotland) and acclaimed writer of the 'Findings’ trilogy. The Findings Trilogy consists of Findings, Sightlines and Surfacing, her collections of essays on nature, landscape, and the environment.

Kathleen referred to her essays as ‘Nature, culture, and travel, by a Scottish woman with young children. (Sometimes ‘travel’ meant the Post Office, or the bottom of the park! But often islands and archaeological sites too.)’

She will be reading from her books and taking questions from the audience. We are very privileged to host this event and thank the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) for funding it as part of their Shelf life Campaign.
